JCDL 2020 has been relocated and redated to: August 1-5, Xi'an, China

Dear paper authors/contributors and potential participants,

Happy New Year! Thank you for your support for JCDL 2020.

As Wuhan has been seriously affected by the new-type coronavirus recently, the Organizing Committee of JCDL 2020 are paying close attention to relevant progress, and any notice will be released on the official website of the conference (http://2020.jcdl.org/).

Experts and scholars are invited to continue to submit in accordance with the agenda of the conference (http://2020.jcdl.org/ImportantDatesAndDeadlines.html).

The Organizing Committee of JCDL 2020 are working with relevant parties to identify viable options to accommodate possible pending status. This would involve:
* helding the conference in Xi'an, Shaanxi on August 1-5, 2020
*allowing virutal attendance / presentation of papers
*not enforcing the "no show" policy

The ACM/IEEE Joint Conference on Digital Libraries (JCDL) is a major international forum focusing on digital libraries and associated technical, practical, and social issues. JCDL 2020 is hosted jointly by School of Information Management at Wuhan University and School of Public Aministration at Northwest University on August 1 - 5, 2020 in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. We invite participants to discuss innovation in Digital Library theory and practice, construction of sustainable ecosystems that help people create knowledge, and the promotion of societal transformation in a time of rapid change. Participation is sought from all parts of the world and from the full range of disciplines and professions involved in digital library research and practice, including computer science, information science, librarianship, archival science and practice, museum studies and practice, technology, medicine, social sciences, and humanities. Submissions are welcomed in various forms: long papers, short papers, panels, posters & demonstrations, tutorials, workshops and practitioners.
